Brian Shin, Founder and CEO  

Brian Shin is the founder and CEO of Visible Measures. Brian has co-founded several successful Internet software companies, including web-based collaboration technology vendor Creative Aspects, which was acquired by Medsite Inc. (now WebMD); and The Cambridge Intelligence Agency, a Web-based e-mail response management solution provider that was acquired by marketing services company MSGi. Brian also co-founded technology strategy consulting firm Infraweb, Inc., where he served as President, and was an early member of the team at Allaire Corp. which went public in 1999 and was subsequently acquired by Macromedia.

Brian enjoys trying new foods with his wife, holds an undergraduate degree from Tufts University, and earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management as part of the dual-degree Harvard-MIT Biomedical Enterprise Program.

Evan Berg, Vice President, Corporate and Business Development

  

Evan Berg is the vice president of corporate and business development at Visible Measures.  Prior to working with Visible Measures, Evan spent two years at Brightcove, a leading Internet TV platform provider and Visible Measures partner. At Brightcove, Evan helped video publishers monetize their content by working with online advertising networks while also enabling publishers to distribute their Internet TV content to web portals, web syndicates and TVs. Previously, Evan was senior director, Business Development, at Macromedia, where he led several strategies including Macromedia's rich media advertising initiative and Flash's evolution into a video player. Evan joined Macromedia via their acquisition of Allaire, where he was a member of Allaire's Business Development team. Prior to joining Allaire, Evan was a corporate finance lawyer with a focus on securities, venture capital, technology licensing and M&A.
 
Evan enjoys mountain biking, skiing and spending time with his family.  Evan holds an undergraduate degree from University of Rochester and a JD and MBA from Boston University.

Seraj Bharwani, Senior Vice President, Business Development

  

Seraj Bharwani is the senior vice president of business development at Visible Measures.  Previously, Seraj served as senior vice president and group director at Digitas for more than 14 years. He joined the company as part of the founding team that led the company through its early growth phase, the IPO and ultimately the exit via acquisition by the Publicis Group. While at Digitas, Seraj led the Strategic Alliances and Analytics group with the primary role of driving innovative co-marketing relationships and digital marketing for major consumer brands across a wide range of industries in the U.S. and overseas.  Prior to Digitas, Seraj was Director of Alliances at MIT Media Lab.

Outside of work, Seraj enjoys swimming and biking with his two children and does pro bono work for non-profit organizations like the Aga Khan Development Network in planning and building primary and secondary schools in Africa, South and Central Asia.

Matt Cutler, Vice President, Marketing & Analytics

Matt Cutler, Vice President, Marketing and Analytics  

Matt Cutler serves as Visible Measures' vice president of marketing & analytics. Most recently, Matt helped to found 80108 Media (now Go2 Media), a venture-backed direct-to-consumer mobile media firm, where he served as vice president of marketing. Previously, Matt led strategic marketing at SPSS Inc., the world's leading provider of predictive analytics software and services. Matt joined SPSS as part of the acquisition of NetGenesis Corp., a company that he co-founded in 1994. NetGenesis was the world's leading provider of Web analytics software and went public [NASDAQ: NTGX] in early 2000. While at NetGenesis, Matt helped found and chair the Customer Profile Exchange standard, an XML-based standard for privacy-enabled customer data interchange, and the Webmasters Guild, the world's first professional association for webmasters.

Matt plays as much soccer as he can, holds an undergraduate degree from MIT, and lives in Needham, MA.

Rishi Dean, Vice President, Product Strategy

Rishi Dean is vice president, product strategy at Visible Measures. Prior to Visible Measures, Rishi was co-founder and CTO of WiseUncle Inc., where he drove the creation and deployment of the company's groundbreaking ecommerce analytics and behavioral targeting solutions. Previously, Rishi was a program manager at Microsoft and helped launch two successful releases of Microsoft Money. Rishi has served as a manager in the Marketing Analytics Group for Digitas and has led global marketing and operations projects for companies such as IDEO, Symantec and VietSoftware.

Rishi likes watching his hometown Toronto Raptors play and earned an undergraduate degree from University of Waterloo and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Christopher Gillett, Chief Software Architect

Christopher Gillett, Chief Software Architect  

Chris Gillett is chief software architect for Visible Measures. Chris has more than 20 years experience as an architect and contributing software engineer, and is an expert in massively scalable systems, data mining tools and infrastructure, data warehousing, virtual machines, compilers, and systems software. Chris was formerly a member of technical staff at Vertica Systems, a high performance column store database engine company, and was chief software architect of Compete, a predictive analytics company. Chris also served as member of technical staff at Compaq, principal software engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, and began his career working on high performance FORTRAN and BASIC compilers for small systems.

Chris is an avid motorsports enthusiast, owns a racecar, and is a high performance driving instructor for a New England car club. Chris holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Central Michigan University.

Kyle Mashima, Vice President, Strategic Development

Kyle Mashima is vice president of strategic development at Visible Measures. Prior to joining Visible Measures, Kyle co-founded online slideshow company FilmLoop which was sold to Fabrik Inc. in 2007. Previously, Kyle served in a number of executive positions at Adobe Systems, including vice president of corporate development and general manager of consumer software. While at Adobe, Kyle was responsible for the creation of PhotoDeluxe, the first easy-to-use photo editing application. Kyle has also held senior positions at Apple and Claris.

Kyle has previously coached the Stanford men's varsity volleyball team and remains an active player and coach. He earned his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and his MBA from Stanford University.

Chris Paul, Vice President, Engineering

Chris Paul is vice president of engineering at Visible Measures. Prior to Visible Measures, Chris was chief technology officer at digital real estate vendor NameMedia, where he led the development of the company's media network of more than one million Web sites. Previously, Chris served as CTO and was a founding member of the engineering team at corporate communications application vendor Brainshark where he developed the first user generated, on-demand, streaming media platform. Chris has also served as vice president of engineering for the Web analytics firm NetGenesis (IPO, later acquired by SPSS), was vice president of R&D at PC DOCS and was CEO/CTO of Working Set, which he led for 12 years. 

An accomplished sailor, Chris has sailed his boat across the Atlantic and survived a solo race from Newport, RI to Bermuda. He holds an undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University. 

John Saitta, Vice President, Operations

John Saitta is vice president, operations of Visible Measures. Before joining Visible Measures, John served as vice president of information services at the communications agency Vanguard Direct where he led both internal IT operations and the Interactive Development Group. Previously, John served as chief information officer for Dynatech Corp. and for Poliform USA. John was vice president of development and consulting at Invision, Corp. and served as manager of information technology and principal consultant for Allaire Corp. which went public in 1999 and was subsequently acquired by Macromedia. 

John spends as much time as he can with his daughter and can usually be found doing any number of sports related activities.  John holds an undergraduate degree from Providence College.

Ron Taché, Vice President, Finance and Administration

Ron Taché, Vice President, Finance and Administration  

Ron Taché is vice president of finance and administration for Visible Measures. Ron brings strategy and implementation expertise to Visible Measures in the areas of finance, customer service, support and account management gleaned from domestic and international work with organizations including BASF, Bell Canada, Cablevision, ExxonMobil, HSN, Samsung and Nabisco. Prior to joining Visible Measures, Ron served as chief operating officer at GoldPocket Interactive where he oversaw the company's operations, including production, customer service and account management until its acquisition by Tandberg Television. Ron continued with the company post-acquisition serving as vice president of operations at Tandberg.

Ron holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Brown University.

Scott Velechko, Vice President, Sales

  

Scott Velechko is vice president of sales at Visible Measures. Prior to joining Visible Measures, Scott was co-founder and vice president of sales at the managed services firm Aptegrity, which was acquired by Globix Corporation in 2003. Following the acquisition, Scott continued his tenure at Globix, where he led the company's sales and marketing efforts for the eastern region. Prior to co-founding Aptegrity, Scott was director of sales at Proxicom, where he led the business development efforts for the company's Financial Services practice in New York.

Scott enjoys time with his wife and son when he's home in New Jersey, and plays as much golf as he can with whatever time is left over. He holds an undergraduate degree in computer science from Montclair State University.
