Experienced Internet Media Executives Join Visible Measures Corp.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --Visible Measures Corp, a pioneer in the emerging field of Video Experience Measurement, announced today the appointment of two Internet Media veterans to its management team, Chris Paul and Kyle Mashima. Paul, who was most recently CTO of NameMedia, an online media network with over 50 million monthly visits, brings over 25 years of technology leadership to Visible Measures and will serve as vice president, engineering. Mashima, who joins Visible Measures as vice president, strategic development, has over 22 years of Internet and software leadership experience including co-founding venture-backed media startup FilmLoop, Inc. and serving in executive management roles for Adobe for 9 years.

Chris Paul to manage Visible Measures' engineering organization
Chris joins Visible Measures with a stellar track record as a pioneer in Software as a Service, user generated content, database and analytics software. Prior to Visible Measures, Chris was Chief Technology Officer at NameMedia where he led the development of the company's high availability online media network of over 1,000,000 sites. As the CTO of Brainshark, Chris was the founding member of the engineering team, which he grew to develop the first user generated, on-demand, streaming media platform. Prior to Brainshark, Chris served as VP Engineering of the web traffic analytics firm, NetGenesis (IPO, later acquired by SPSS). Chris became VP of R&D at PC DOCS, via an acquisition of the company he was founder and CEO/CTO of, Working Set, which he lead for 12 years. Working Set was a database product dev shop that built database products including VAX SQL and the first WYSIWYG report writer. Chris earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree from Carnegie Mellon University.

Kyle Mashima will head up strategic development and west coast operations
Prior to joining VMC, Kyle co-founded FilmLoop, raising $12M in funding and creating a service that garnered over 1.4M users. FilmLoop was acquired by Fabrik Inc. Prior to FilmLoop, he spent 9 yrs in various executive positions at Adobe Systems including VP of Corporate Development and GM of Consumer Software. He was responsible for the creation of PhotoDeluxe, the first easy-to-use photo editing application, which shipped more than 30 million copies. Prior to Adobe, Kyle worked at Apple, Claris and several other start ups, for a total of more than 22 years of software experience. Kyle earned his bachelor's in MechE and his MBA from Stanford University.
