Software Engineer (Flash & Flex)

We are looking for an exceptional Software Engineer (Flash & Flex) to create new prototypes for, and enhance product functionality of, our customer-facing applications built off of our media metrics platform.

To achieve these goals, we require a deep understanding of the fundamentals of web architectures and user interfaces, with a sincere interest and empathy for the user experience. This entails the creation of elegant code for rich Flex/Flash web client (with J2EE server) applications. You will need to openly and clearly communicate and collaborate with product management, development, and our consulting services (where appropriate) to achieve your goals.

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of development experience building scalable consumer facing web applications
• Experience with Flex/Flex2
• Advanced ActionScript knowledge, AS3
• Browser technology knowledge: Flash, HTML, XSL, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX
• Experience with Flash Video and Flash Media Server a plus
• Advanced experience designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript and ActionScript
• Data driven UI experience (using XML, web services, databases, and SQL)
• Some experience using ASP, ASP.Net, JSP, PHP or other dynamic web frameworks
• Able to develop creative concepts and online mock ups in a rapid iterative environment
• Experience with Flash Remoting and development of flash in non-browser platforms (desktop, handheld, embedded systems) are definite assets
• Java experience will be very helpful to you
