WHAT YOU WILL DO:

We are looking for an exceptional Engagement Manager to manage the successful day-to-day service delivery to a set of media clients. Engagement Managers are often the primary client contact as well as the project team leader, which requires an innate ability to effectively balance longer-term strategic issues with day-to-day tactical project issues. The Engagement Manager has direct accountability to the client, as well as the senior staff.

This position requires impeccable writing and communication and interpersonal skills to synthesize and articulate customer needs, with delivery capabilities, into concise solutions that you will sell solutions to senior management within a client organization. You will coordinate your efforts closely with those of the business development, engineering, and professional services teams to understand and evangelize the needs of our clients, and to manage the quality of our customer delivery.

YOUR EXPERIENCE IS:

  • Analytical, self-motivated, and very responsive to sales and customer requests
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills; able to lead client meetings with senior personnel; able to create and deliver persuasive presentations; able to influence client decisions
  • Able to identify decision makers in and influencers within a complex client organizational structure and build strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to effectively balance client's needs and priorities with those of VMC
  • Able to effectively lead and motivate large multi-disciplinary project teams toward delivering an integrated solution to the client
  • Providing thought leadership and direction for clients toward identifying additional revenue opportunities
  • Strong project management skills and experience, including:
    • Budget/schedule development and management/oversight
    • Resource management and forecasting
    • Risk identification and management
